  1. I've been testing the deck since the full list of Gbt11 was released. This decklist is fine if you want to play casual, but I think that if you want to play Blademaster more competitive-based, some changes are needed:

    G0:
Some people suggest using 6 stands and 6 criticals to re-use Mbudi's skill, as it's not limited to 1/turn. I'm testing without draws and the deck has enough draw power to run stands and not worrying about the draw triggers anymore. About What stands are the best to run: Lizard Soldier Viera & Inspire Yell Dragon. Dragon Dancer Nilda's not a bad card, but it needs the attack to hit (but I think it needs more testing to see if it can fit perfectly in the deck)

G1:Taher's not as good as it seems. As a 9k booster we have better options with Marcel, and its retiring skill is an on-call, so I would drop it and add either a second Shinsen (which I'm still not sure about its effectiveness) or a fourth Nadel (which is the best G1 to run in a Blademaster-based deck)
And this decks uses a lot of CB, so I think that Protect Orb Dragon is better than Dumjid. I also tend to run one copy of Escort Dragon Attendant Reas, 'cause it can jump to hand at the end of turn, so I always have at least a PG in hand and if needed a rg in field

G2: I'm still searching for the best line-up. At the moment 4 Mbudi are the best, the others I'm still not sure what to run. I use Twilight Arrow Dragon to wipe the rest of RGs in my opp field to use the GB3 of Ziegenburg without discarding any card

G3: OG Blademaster isn't needed anymore, so drop it. And I find Dragon Knight Basuit better than Jargo. I would run 7 G3 and 4 Lava Flow Dragon

G4: Almost the same as mine. I would drop L'Express 'cause you have a better finisher in Blazing Burst and run other g-units (I run Root Flare Dragon, but it's a personal preference, so you can run L'Express if you don't find anything better)

Hope this can help you. As a fellow kagero player I hope we all can make a great blademaster-based deck and make it competitive :)

  2. Firstable that's the kind of comment I want to read, i thought most of my readers know, that my decklist are trying to be the most competitive with the newest cards of the box, knowing that, you can understand many things.

i need to make a post about that and the reason what my decks are why they are, anyway i agree with some of the points you wrote.

G0: you are right, at first i used draw trigger to keep the consistent of Blazing but with Inspire Yell Dragon it can be solve, i'll change it.

G1: Taher is just at 1, you already know, Shinsen is good worth it and talking about this thing Reas is better than Dumjid but Dumjid worth it, fighting with Royal and Gold paladin really show me that.

G2: "I'm still searching for the best line-up" (me too).

    G3: i'll explain it bellow.

G4: Don't drop L'Express, trust me, when you know your opponents have PG and no heals in hand i really helps.

Well if you have seen others post, i'm trying to use new things, if i would be making decklist with just the RRR or tops cards of the next i wouldn't worth making a new post, just look at my others BladeMaster decklist.

I know i can't make everyone agree but as new players comes in every set i prefer to use some of the new cards in this set instead of making a copypaste of my last deck and add the top cards. anyway thank you, you made me change my mind with this deck.

    1. if you want to read this kind of comments don't worry, I love to write things like this.

I've been testing this deck more and I've come with this now

G0: stands, this deck loves them. It have enought draw power with Mbudi alone, and as its skill is not limited to 1/turn if you stand it you can abuse its skill and use it once more if you stood it. I've tested with Inspire + Veira (I'm not sure to use Nilda yet, but I'm still testing...)

G1: I've seen that Nadel is a key card to this deck. I'd max it out, having 2 on field is always a need if you want to CC. BTW, some people told me to use Aethonic, what do you think about it? It needs some testing thou...

G2: nothing changed...I've tested Wall Ravage Dragon, but it's nothing too great to consider it...

G3: I still think that Kouen & Basuit are the best

G4: I've taken out the Root Flares and added Sebreeze and a 5th G-Guardian (Dizmel). I've taken out Advance Guard, is useless (now I run 2 Denial, 1 Asyl, 1 Abd Salam and Dizmel)

Hope this can be useful too. I've seen that you changed the deck also, now looks great ^^

  3. My personal ratio for this deck is 7/12/14/17 (Grades 3/2/1/0)

I would always favour Lizard Soldier, Conroe over any starter to consistently search for lava flows to search for kouen if you do not have kouen in hand to ride. Kouen's ability to recycle grade 3s is ridiculously strong as it guarantees next turn strides or even discard fodder for perfect guards. Also I like running Positive Dracokid over a generic heal trigger with 1 copy of advance guard to gain access to the counter charge as the deck is borderline with its counterblasts and it hurts even more when going up against a control clan that can retire nadel.

The 1 of grade 1s dont make nearly enough impact to the deck as you rarely see them every game and are better off replacing them with a 4th nadel (key card in this deck due to amounts of counterblast the deck uses)

Would definitely favour 12 grade 2s if running stand triggers to increase offensive power as you dont want to drive check a stand trigger without being able to restand a Mbudi/Jargo or even a nadim.

As mentioned at the beginning of this post, 7 grade 3s is ideal with the ability to recycle them and I would cut the second original blademaster as he has the least synergy in the deck by not being a blaze unit. The only redeeming factor of the original blademaster is if you have to ride him by sheer misfortune then you at least still have access to Mbudi's GB2 skill to draw for cards.

As for the G-Zone, I agree with Saad Kamal, to remove L'Express as you have a far more superior finisher in the form of Ziegenburg. In the scenario where the opponent has no heal triggers and only perfect guards, the restand is much more punishing than a grade 1 guard restrict. Root flare would be a good substitute as resist units hurt kouens gb2 so its nice to have an out if you come across a player with resist units in their deck. And as mentioned above, I would replace asyl orb for an advance guard for a positive dracokid unflip and in those nasty situations against granblue where advance guard can retire negrobone to prevent its skill.

  4. Question: Would you consider using Radient Dragon in this deck as a grade 2?
